Legislative Agenda

The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM) is known for being an “aggressive, member-driven” organization that advocates tirelessly for the Commonwealth’s largest industry.  Our members have told us in no uncertain terms they want us to help them lower costs and find more qualified workers. KAM has long been an advocate for and will continue to advocate for these priorities.

During upcoming sessions, you will see us advocate these priorities in the following ways:

• Work with the Governor and lawmakers to review the economic development policies and continue to advocate for those that will keep Kentucky manufacturers competitive globally.

• Continue to work with the General Assembly to keep the working capital of businesses IN their businesses through fair and sound tax and fiscal policy.
